One of the most requested features in Anet IPTV is the ability to watch live TV and monitor security cameras at the same time. With the split-screen feature, you can now do exactly that, turning your Android TV box into a combined entertainment and security monitoring system.

What You Need

To use the split-screen CCTV feature, you need:

Setting Up Your Camera

  1. Open Anet IPTV and go to Settings > CCTV / IP Camera.
  2. Tap "Add Camera" and enter a name (e.g., "Front Door") and the stream URL.
  3. If your camera requires authentication, enter the username and password.
  4. Tap "Test" to verify the stream works, then "Save".
  5. Repeat for each camera you want to add.

Using Split-Screen Mode

Once your cameras are configured, you can activate split-screen mode while watching any channel:

  1. While watching a TV channel, press the Menu button on your remote.
  2. Select "Split Screen" from the overlay menu.
  3. Choose the camera you want to display alongside the TV channel.
  4. The screen splits into two panels: TV on the left and camera on the right.
  5. Press Menu again to switch which panel has audio, or to exit split-screen mode.

Multi-Camera View

If you have multiple cameras, you can also use the Multi-Camera View to see all cameras at once in a grid layout. This transforms your TV into a full surveillance monitor. Go to the CCTV section from the main menu and select "Grid View" to see 2, 4, or up to 9 cameras simultaneously.

Practical Use Cases

Monitor your front door while watching TV: Keep an eye on deliveries or visitors without leaving your show. When someone rings the doorbell, just glance at the split screen.

Watch the baby's room: Parents can monitor their sleeping child via a nursery camera while watching TV in the living room.

Shop or office security: Business owners can display live security feeds alongside news or entertainment in their break room or office.

Supported Camera Brands

Anet IPTV works with most IP cameras including Hikvision, Dahua, Reolink, TP-Link Tapo, Wyze, Amcrest, and any camera that outputs an RTSP or HTTP stream. If your camera has a mobile app, you can usually find the RTSP URL in the camera's network settings or documentation.

The split-screen feature turns Anet IPTV from a simple media player into a complete home entertainment and security solution, all from one app on one device.
