As a parent, keeping your children safe while they watch TV is a top priority. Anet IPTV was designed from the ground up with families in mind, offering the most comprehensive parental control system available in any IPTV player.

Why Parental Controls Matter

Children today have access to thousands of channels and millions of YouTube videos. Without proper controls, they can easily stumble onto inappropriate content. Anet IPTV solves this problem with multiple layers of protection that work together to create a safe viewing environment.

Step 1: Set Your Master PIN

The first thing to do after installing Anet IPTV is to set your master PIN. Go to Settings > Parental Controls and create a 4-digit PIN. This PIN will lock all settings, preventing children from changing anything. Without the PIN, they cannot access settings, add channels, or modify the app in any way.

Step 2: Lock Individual Channels

Navigate to any channel in your playlist and long-press on it. Select "Lock Channel" from the context menu. Locked channels will show a lock icon and require the master PIN to watch. This is perfect for adult channels that you want to keep in your playlist but hide from children.

Step 3: Set Up YouTube Channel Whitelisting

This is the feature that sets Anet IPTV apart from every other player. Go to YouTube Settings and enable Whitelist Mode. In this mode, your children can ONLY watch YouTube channels that you have explicitly approved. Add channels like "CoComelon," "Peppa Pig," or educational channels, and everything else is blocked.

Step 4: Configure Screen Time Limits

Set daily viewing limits to control how much TV your children watch. Go to Parental Controls > Screen Time and set a daily limit (for example, 2 hours). When the limit is reached, the app will display a friendly message and stop playback. You can also set bedtime hours so the app will not work between, say, 9 PM and 7 AM.

Step 5: Block and Delete Channels

If you want to go further, you can completely delete unwanted channels from any playlist. Simply long-press and select "Delete". The channel is permanently removed from the playlist. You can also hide entire categories that you do not want your children to see.

Bonus: Remote Management

If your IPTV provider uses the Anet panel, you can manage parental controls remotely. Lock channels, push configurations, and even disable the app remotely from the admin dashboard. This means you can manage your child's TV even when you are not at home.

With these five steps, you have created a safe, controlled environment for your family. Your children get to enjoy their favourite shows, and you get peace of mind knowing they cannot access anything inappropriate.
